Who can vote?
People over the age of 16 and who are registered in Escala are able to vote.
Can foreigners vote?
Yes, foreigners can vote, but only if they are registered in Escala.
Where is the voting held?
The voting is held at the CER; number 6, Garbi road, L’Escala.
What is needed to be able to vote?
An official identity and Escala residency card.
How can you guarantee the identity of a voter?
Spanish citizens have to show their identity card or driving licence.
Registered foreigners have to show their identity card from their country of origin.
Foreigners that aren’t registered have to show their Documentation of Foreign Identity (NIE).
Registered foreigners without permission of residence have to show their passport.
How can you guarantee the residency documents of a voter?
To guarantee the residency documents of a voter, a registration certificate or any other document that certifies residence in Escala is needed. (Rent contract, electricity bill etc...)
